hbelam asked: Just my experience: I'm from Kentucky and I haven't really heard much of Eastern Ky's program. I went to Transylvania University and was a Major in Classics. I love both the major professors, Drs. John Svarlien and Frank Russell. Especially Frank. I truly loved my experience.

ohmoritarty asked: I love you and your blog. Nothing hurts.
On the otherhand, I just finished my first year of Latin several weeks ago and we used the Oxford Latin Course textbook and I was wondering if you know about the Cambridge one?
Oh Cambridge Latin Course, I love you. Truly, madly, deeply. I have a friend with an unhealthy obsession over Grumio. Like all Latin courses, the stories were a bit mad, but I still love it. What’s the Oxford version like?

One night my friend and I were websurfacing, and she came across a site she thought was in ancient Greek. It was actually Russian. “All the squiggles look the same.”
To be fair, it was really late.

I saw her teacher (who I had back in grade school) at my friends’ eagle ceremony and asked her if I could teach the class. Needless to say, she is pretty excited to have me teach the class.
